The operative spinners at Manchester have accepted the masters' terms, but the card workers' refusal paralyses tho other departments, and consequently the mills will close from to-day, rendering 150,000 people idle. A. fort-p night's suspension of work is expected. It is hoped that the cardworkers will meanwhile ballot on the question. , j
