COMPENSATION CASE

Dr. R. W. Anderson stated that ho agreed with -what Dr. Talbot stated in his_ evidence the previous day, that claimant had evidently h.d a" chronic abscess in the kne«. joint, which -was, no doubt, the result of an injury to the bono so mo time before. Tlie abscess had been on the point of breaking, and had burst, but whether tho slight strain which claimant had given his knee had caused the abscess to hurst or whether it_ burs* practically with the claimant lying in bed, it was difficult to say.
Witness was cross-e_:_.iu_n_d at some length. Counsel addressed th© Court. The President said that tho Court would consider tho matter. Tho Court adjourned till 10 a.m. today.
