PRESIDENT'S CUP.
Merivalo A defeated Sydenham A, after a very interesting and hardfought game, by 3 points (a try by Small) to nil. Linwood B defeated Albion by default. Sydenham B defeated Old Boys A by 10 points to 4. For the winners, King, Sinclair, Howison, and Gordon scored tries, fordon converting two. Ford potted a goal for Old Boys.. After a fino forward game tho match between Linwood A and Christchureh ;v resulted in a draw, neither side scoring. Mr Hiddlostone was referee. Merivale B defeated Christchureh C on tho South Park by 8 points to 5. For the winners, Aiming and Norrio scored tries, one of which Parfitt converted. For the losers Budd scored a try, which Forbes converted. Richmond defeated Christ's College, on the College ground, by 9 points (three tries) to 6 points. For the losers, Moore scored a try and Deatcn kicked a penalty goal. Boys' High School defeated Kaiapoi on the hitter's ground by 16 to 6. Mr S. F. Wilson was referee.
