Several good bags of duck wore reported from tile •neighbourhood of Taiaroa. Mate, on the Leeston side of Lake EJleemero (writes .our correspondent). Two Ghri&fcchurch sportsmen secured bags of 35 and 46 respectively, while ono fxom Leeston got 64. A*-regret-table feature of this year's shooting, so far, is the unsportsmanlike behaviour of Eomo wfco are shooting in the sanctuaries, and it is stated that even after the report of the guns there tho birds do not leave them.
