ALL SAINTS', SUMNER.
The annual meeting of parishioners of All Saints', Stunner, was held in the parish room on Wednesday evening. The vicar, the Rev. R. J. Thorpe, 31.A., was in the chair.
The V icar read tun report of the year's work, whioli was very satisfactory. The balance-sheet, which was read by Mr Wood, parishioners' warden, snowed receipts £398 10s Id, expenditure £373 19s 6d, leaving a oredit balance on Sumnor Church account of £15 12s and Redoliffs £8 18e 7d; total £24 10s 7d.
It may be merotioned that Redcliffs has a mission-room in- connection' with -the church at Sirmner. Votes of thanks were tendered to the outgoing warden and vestry, lay readers, Sunday school teachers, choir, otc. The ejection of officers resulted as follows:—Parishioners' church warden, Mr Wood; vestry, Messrs S. Wiggins, Deaham, C. Preston, Newman, J. Andexson, B. Crawford, Searle, Bradbury, J. D. Watson, and Bolton. » It was strongly advocated as a recommendation to Synod, that women should be allowed to vote at parish meetings.
