Tihe meeting of West Lyttelton householders was attended by seventeen, persons. . ■;-'•../ ;' :-/.
The committee, in its (report,- regretted that,., owing to. the -&w ..average littendiaaice—under 150 —the Board had, at the beginning.. of the .-year, removed the nssistaait-anistress. A resolution was carried, regretting that the Jiead-master was still 1 nonresident in the diet-riot. The following were elected as the committee:—Rev. E. Efiot Chambers, Messrs P. :E. Bean, C. P. O. Kempthorae; A. J. Murray, J..C. R. Isberwood, F. L. Foster and P. F. G. Mumford. At a meeting of the newly-elected commtittee, Mr C. P. ,o.'< Kempthorne was elected as chairman. The Rev. E. Eliot'diambers was re-appointed secretary for the . fifteenth year in «ruecession. '. ~"'..
