Tho following circular has been sent to shareholders of the South Canterbury Dairy Company:—''Owing to the lack of capital the directors regret that it is impossible for the company, as at present destituted, to tarry on, Tho directors are reluctantly compelled to take the preliminary steps in a voluntary liquidation. Now that tho industry has been started the directors hope that it will not be allowed, to die. The present mortgagee is prepared _tb'continue his assistance if sufficient financial support is forthcoming to reasonably ensure success. Meunvvhilo it has been arranged that tho interests of suppliers will not be imperilled by the present proceedings. Suppliers will receive payment as hitherto, and have no ground for alarm."
