"TRUTH" FOOTBALL COMPETITION! A GUINEA A GUESS. Money Prizes Every Week In ordor to heighten the interest in this lesson's Rugby Football Fixtures, the proprietors of " Truth " have decided to offer weekly Prises of £1 Is. and 10s 6d. respectively to the persons making tho First and Second most aocurate forecasts of the results of the Three Senior Rugby Football Matches played under the auspices of the Canterbury Rugby Football Union during the coming season. Any person is eligible to compete, except employees of the Christchurch Press Company. Tha Competitions for eaoh Saturday will elose on the previous Friday night at 10 o'clock. The entries will not be opened till the matches are over, and the results will be announced in each Monday's " Truth." It Costs Nothing to Compete. The Senior Championship Matches Open To-morrow (Saturday) with the following-' fixtures: — SYDENHAM v. ALBION OLD BOYS v. CHRISTCHURCH LINWOOD v. CANTERBURY COLLEGE MEIUVALE a Bye. All that it is necessary for competitors to do is to Cut out the Special Form appearing in "Truth," fill in their selections, and forward them in closed envelopes to the Football Editor, " Truth " Office. THIS WEEK'S COMPETITION CLOSES THIS (FRIDAY) NIGHT, at IO o'clock. TRY YOUR LUCK.
