She admitted tlie charges, and the Magistrate decided to give her another chance, and fined her the usual os for drunkenness ar.d -ICte and costs, in default one month's imprisonment, for using obscene language. James Burt was charged with drunkenness, stealing a razor valued at 10s to. the property of John Win. Chadwick, and resisting Constable Carney while in the execution of bis duty, t/vxlence was given 'bv John Wm. Ohadwick. Consta-bie Carnev. and accused. Tho Magistrate, after looking at accused's record. fined him os and costs for ' drunkenness, sentenced hj m to seven days' imprisonment for stealing the razor, and fined him 20s a_nd costs, in default.one month's imprisonment, for resisting Constable.Carney. A charge against Edward Mvers of assaulting and robbing Jo'in'Henry Hjll of 14s was withdrawn on the application of tbe police. Station Sergt.
