TIMARU.
Tho holidays passed off very pleasantly at Timani. Tho weather was fine, -with the exception of light thowers of rain on Saturday. The attractions in town yesterday were the local bowling and golf tournaments, while in tho country tho Fairlio Shdw attracted a largo attendance, and tho Temuka bicycle sports had a record gate for the Easter fixture. A popular attraction -was the second-class band contest. The athletio events were all -■well contested.
