The last monthly -meeting of the McKenzie Domain Board was attended by Messrs G. W: Crampton (chairman), G. W. Forbes aand T. Lewis. Aa apology for abse_co was read from Mr W. T. Robinson. The secretary reported liaving lodged £9, rent of r*t> sorv© held-by Mr Lee, to the credit ol the Board. Accounts for £3 Os 7d wore passed. It was resolved to dear the accumulating rubbish from tho trees in the Jed Reserve, and to repair fences on th© HomevieW Plantation. Mr C. Barnes waited upon th© Board regarding tho -purchase of a num_er of for milling into timber. The niaxter was left in th© hands of Messrs Forbes and Lewis to inspect the plantation with Mr BaraeSj a_d make necessary arrangem©nt«.
At th© last meeting of th© Agricultural and -Pastoral Association the secretary notified that Sir George Clifford aaid Mr R. C. Wilson' had each given £5 5s towards th© funds of the Assooi-atibn, and they -were unanimously -dected life members.
