Mr Munro-Ferguson and other prominent Liberals are urging the Government to convene an Imperial Conference to discuss the problem of Oriental immigration. ;
Lord Ampthill contends that the question is over-ripe for settlement, and argues that economic _eoessity, not racial prejudice, is the root of the difficulty.
