WeDXESDAT, OCTOBER 16. AFTEKNOON SITTING. - Tho House mob at 2.30 p.m. REPLIES TO QUESTIONS. In reply to questions Ministers stated:— That it was not propoeed to introduce legislation this session dealing with the saio of New Zeel«nd wines. That it was not tho intention of the Government to introduco legielation to abolish tho Grand Jury system. That it wae not proposed to submit a Bill for tho alteration of tho law this session to provide for a fixed minimum wage for school teachers. Thnt information regarding the results of tho trials mado on tho Eoet Coast by the trawler Nora Niven will not bo published until tho trawling are completed, but an interim report can now bo given on tho first three months' work. Tho second three months will not be completed until December. That suggestions in connection with packet licensee wore now receiving tho consideration of tho Government. Tho Houso rose at 5.30 p.m.
