WEDDING AT ST. MICHAEL'S.
A wedding of more than ordinary interest took place at St. Micheol'e Church yesterday afternoon, when Mies Janet Boyle, eldest da tighter of Mr A. Boyle, of this city, was married to Mr Algar Williams, of Napier. The chancel of the church was prettily decorated ia honour of the occasion, and the ceremony was attended by a very large number of the interior of the church being completely rilled. The eervice wae conducted by Dean Harper, assisted by Archdeacon AveriU, Vicar of St. Michael's, the choral portions being given by the church choir. The bride was attended by eight bridesinaide, Misses Phyllis lJoyle, Un» Williams, Avioe Pitmin, Estiior Barker, Mairo Rhodes, Doris Barker, Jooolyn. Pyne, and Irii Studholme, and by a email page, Master Boyle. Mr E. Williams, cousin of the bridegroom, ected as beet man. The bride's costume was of whifo satin, with old Bruseel's lace trimmings, the train being of striped satin and lace. The bridesmaids wore dresses of white ninon, with rose coloured pelerines, and white chip hats and white veils, the trimmings being oompoeed of lily-of-the-valley and roses. At the conclusion of the ceremony the guests were entertained at a reception held at the residence of the bride's parents. The wedding presents, which numbered over 400, made a magnificent dieplay, and were much admired.' The bridegroom presented tho bride with a set of sable furs, and the bridesmaids with amethyst pendants, other presents being a diamond and emerald pendant from the bride's father, household linen from the bride's mother, table silver from tho bridegroom's mother, a dressing-caeo from Miss Phyllis Bo.vle, Honiton laoe from the bridegroom's sisters, a diimond pendant from Mr F. A. Pyne, « gold watch from the office etaff of Messrs Pyne and Co., a eet of silver fruit dishes from the household staff of the bride's parents, end c silver toaet rack from the household etnff of the bridegroom's pirente.
