Accounts tor £449 6s 2d were passed. ■, In connection with the <new Heatnoot» bridge, it was resolved that, in ♦iew of the small amount of Sumner traffic over the bridge, the Council suggest that Sumner'e share of the upkeep should not be more than 10 per cent, of the whole amount. The Borough foreman reported that the effluent drain, which hnd caused SO much inrpnrenience, would be finished on saturdny. It wee decided thnt Ihe Town Clerk write to Mrs A. J. White. a«kinp if she would sell the new municipal buildings, of which she is the owner, and if so. at what price? The offer of Mr A. Hadecke in regard -to Riieworke for the borough was referred «to Ihe Lighting Committee.
