EGG-LAYING COMPETITIONS.
LINCOLN COLLEGE.
The official report for the sixteenth, week of the Utility Poultry Club's Third Egg-laying Competition at Lincoln Collego shows that 1346 eggs were laid during the week, bringing the total to dato to 15,127. The beat results for the week •were:—D. Sturrock (Blenheim) Black Orpingtons 38, W. Forrest (Rangiora) Black Orpingtons 36, Miss Rita Nixon CBurwood) White Leghorns 36, W. Woofondin (Temuka) Silver Wyahdoties 35, Mrs W. 0. Sail (Cust) Silver Wyand6ttos 34, A. W, D. Clarke CHalswoll) Silver Wyandottoe 34, J. Tonge (Christchurch) White Leghorns 34. The highest total* to date are:—W. Knight (Hutt) ' Black Orpingtons 434, W. Forrest (Rangiora) Black Orpingtons 429, Allan Petri* (Milton) White Loghorne 428, T.
