At a meeting of the Agricultural a:-d Pastoral Assixiation's Committee op there were present Mcswr-i E. C. Studholme (nre-ident). White. Freeman, Francis. Saundoro. Hert.dett. Hayes, llitchcner. Hunter, Bell, Oibell. Wain, Beckett (secretary), and C. Akhurst (treasurer). It was resolved that the next annual show l>e held on Thursday, November llth. The following Ground Committee were appointed: Messrs Hcrtslett. Brown, Saunders. Hayes, Franc-is, and Morgan, the president nnd vice-president. It was resolved to write tc Sir William Steward, asking his support nrriiinst tlie reported proposal t<) alroli.-ih tin- duty on wheat and flour.
