The Pioneer and Garrison Athletlfljal Clubs held a sports meeting iv the Ki_(Jsl| Edward Barracks last night, about fcM thousand people being present. Th*-JI Garrison Band under Lieutenant Mei*»l|j ton, provided musical selectiontween the events. The programnisM might havo been shortened with ad-ilal vantage, as tho last event did not finish ;"§$ until just on eleven o'clock.
