MR LESLIE HARRIS.

To-night, at the Theatre Royal, Mr Loslie Harris, who oomee with very high credentials as an entertainer, will make his first appearance here under the auspices of Mr Allan Hamilton. Mr Harris has been most enthusiastically received in Australia, and also in Dunedin end Wellington. The style.of entertainment which he gives is diversified in character, comprising sketches, vocal and otherwise, of the kind made bo,popular here by the late Mr Mel. B. JSpurr. Mr Spurr, it may be noted, gave several of Mr Harris'e compositions in,connection with his entertainments, notably the one in which a wellknown lyric, "Her Golden Hair," was treated afCGr 'tEe manner of. the great masters. As • piano soloi*t Mr Harris is waid to take high rank in addition to his clever character work, which comprises both tho humorone and pathetic.
