GRAIN SALE.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, held their monthly grain sale yesterday. The catalogue comprised about 1900 sacka of wheat, oats, barley, etc., and witn the exception of some of the larger lines, a satisfactory clearance was effected. Mining wheat and shipping Lines of oats were not well competed for but fowl and seconds wheat and food oata met a ready sale. Whole
fowl wheat brought frp-m 3s to 3s 2_d, seconds 2s 8d to & 9d. Garton oats 2a Id to 2s 3d, Duns 2s Id to 2b 3d, Danish 2s Id to 2s 2d.
