A PHYSIOLOGICAL PHENOMENON.
m The poßt mortem examination on the body of the young man Mclntyie, who was found dead ia liia bed at Digby's bridge on Sunday morning, states the Ashburton "Guardian," revealed a physiological phenomenon -which is seldom met with in the sphere of tbe medical faculty.' The organic system of the deceased was found to be an exact transposition of the orthodox human construction, the heart and other organs which are generally located iv the led Side of the human, body being on the right side, while tbo liver and other physical organs' of tlie right side were found in corresponding positions on the left side of the system. Dr. Boyd, who officially conducted tne post mortem, said there was no reason, why a person who was born with his physical economy so diametrically transposed should not be healthy and live an average lengthy existenoe. Such cases as this occur very rarely, and meUical practitioners do not reckon on coming across one even in a lifetime. __- ''
