FIRES.
While Mr Ooortre Arres, of Waikari, •was at -toa on Friday, his stable, containing 3(HM>uehcls of "wheat, .500 bushels of oats, nnrl 210 bushels of grass Rf-ed, i\vo tons of ontshoaf cliaff, a new binder, ami a dray and harness, wore totally destroyed by fire. Two horses were burnt: to death, nnd another was very severely scorched by fire. There are no insurances.
