MEETING AT TIMARU.
At Timaru yesterday Messrs C. M. (Tray and Henry Overton, representing tlw North Canterbury Executive of tho •Yew Zealand International Exhibition, waited on the chairman and several members of the South Canterbury Exef ctitive, with c viow of securing the «M>peraHon of the Southern Executive in arranging for one comprehensive Canterbury Court at the Exhibition. Mr Gray explained that it waa not Propoeed that the different bays from South and mid Canterbury should lose their individuality, but it. wae desired that space should be secured in adjoining blocks for the threo bays, so that a characteristic of the Exhibition would be the imposing exhibit representing the whole of Canterbury. The South Canterbury oxecutive foil in with tho proposal conditionally that it would in no way interfere with the spirit Of rivalry as between the respective bays.
