OBITUARY.
Many people in Cihrietchuroh end elsewhere will regret to learn of the death of Mra McGregor (nee Miss Helen Mo-ran), which occurred suddenly from heart disease at her home at Hunterville on Thursday. The deceased kdy was a. daughter of Mrs James Moran, of Wellington, end ft eieter of Miss Julia Moran (the well-known Wellington violinistc), Mrs Craig (of Wellington), Mrs P. J. Nolan (late of Ohristchiuch end Wellington but now of Sydney)* and Mr S. J. Moran. It is only a few months since Mrs McGregor's eister, Miss Florence Moran, diea after a short illness.
The funeral of the late Mr George Herbert Stubbe, the victim of the deerstalking fatality at Pirinoa, took pfaoe at Karori (Wellington) on Thursday afternoon. The (mourners included members of ttie D Battery Artillery and the Sixth New Zealand Contingent. Many beautiful wreathe were sent by sympathising friends, in which the Chrietohurch Swimming Club and Hockey Club were represented. The burial service was conducted by the Rev Mr Kay. The deceased, by his bright disposition end thorough integ"ty», had endeared himself, both in Wellington end Chrietchuroh, ,to a large circle of acquaintances, toVhom his tragic end came ac a great shock.
