NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
A Catholic bazaar will be opened this evening at the Alexandra Hall, and continue for three following afternoons and evenings. T,he annual meeting of the Now Zealand Gua Ciub -will bo held to-nigjh£ at eig&t o clock at the City Hotel. A notification with reference to the race trains to-day,- also the starting of afternoon trains appears elsewhere. A night train will leave fo,r Ihinediu at 9 p.m. and Lite trains for Templeton at i 0.31) and R<mgiora at 11 p.m.
Tho Tramway Board elsewhere notify alterations in the time-table of their lino for to-day. Trams will leave for the racecour>e every twenty minutes from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. and afterwards everj- half hour. Only a limited number of cans will be available to-day, but to-morrow tho number will be increased.
