BLENHEIM, April 14. The total for tho fiftieth week of the New Zealand egg-laying competition was 685, making a grand total of 85,040, and a weekly average per pen of 6.85. Tho highest layings for the week were:—Murphy's Rcee-comb Black Orpington* (Blenheim), 38; Ashworth's Silver Wyandottes (Alexandra), 23; Worthington Bros.' Silver Wyandottes, 19. The order of merit now runs:—Leger (Levin) 13(il, Brooks (■South Australia) 1217, Marlborough A. and P. Association 1181, Miss Mick Shaw (Blenheim) 1177, Jonathan Hodton (Blenheim) 1170, Hockey (Nelson) 1160.
