(PRISS ASSOCIATIOW TELEGRAM.) DUXEDIN. April 11. At Qic annual session of the Presbyterian Synod of Ot-ago and Southland, the Moderator (tho Rev. Mr Dutton) was unable to attend, through illness, and his address was read. A discussion took place on the question of a limited tenure of ministerial office, and a conference is to bo hold with the Office Bearers' Association. The general opinion appeared to be thai tho propceal was impracticable.
