FIRE.
A five-roomed house in Harper street, Sydenham, owned and occupied by Mrs Smart, and insured for £160 in the Commercial, the furniture being insured in the same offioe for £50, was partially burnt yesterday afternoon, damage to the extent of £50 being done to the building, and about £30 worth of tbe furniture being destroyed. The fire was put out by the Sydenham and Lichfield street chemical engines.
