POULTRY AND PIGS.
There was a good entxy of poultry at Saturday's markete and brisk competition for table birds. Hens brought -is to 4s, pullets 3s 6d to ss, roosters, best 4s to 5s 6d, smaller 3» to 3e 9d, ducks 4s 6d to ss, ducklings 5s to 6s, geese is, turkey gobblers 15s, hens 10s, all at per pair. A. large consignment of pure bred poultry sold as followe:-Black Orpingtons, cocks, 30s, pullets 15s; Buff Orpington cocks 30s, pulkta 15s; Brown Legßorns 10s; White Leghorns, 10s; Golden Wyandottes, 15s, all at per pair; Indian Game, 25s per trio. There was a large entry of pigs, which met'with a rather dull sale end lower prices. Stores made 13s 3d to 295, and suckers and weaners ba to i<is oa.
