ADMIRAL'S REPORT BELIEVED. SPEECH BY MR LYTTELTON. There ie an outburst of violence" on the part of the Russian Press. The Admiral's report is fully believed at St. Petersburg, and will impede settlement, It ie orScially re-ported that the Russians shelled the German trawler Sonntag the same night as the Dogger Bank outrage occurred. Vice-Admiral Lord Charke Beresford'a Channel Fleet has started towards Vigo. Fresh denials are given at Hull to the presence of torpedo boats emonget the trawlers -./ Mr Lyttelton, Secretary of State for the Colonies, speaking at Leamington, said it was a. happy ■ sign that the colonies within a few hours of the outrage expressed their sincere sympathy and hearty support. Mr T, P. O'Connor, editor of "T.P.V Weekly," characterises the outrage as a terrible and tragic blunder, for which any civilised Government ought to offer ample and prompt reparation. •
