A match was played jon Saturday at New Brighton between the Oxford Terrace Baptist Club and New Brighton C'tub, when the former won by 90 runs. Scores: — Oxford Terrace Baptist (batting one man short) 111 (G. W. Ford, retired, 42, T. Potter 31, G. H. Lawrence 13); New Brighton 21. W. Kerr (seven wickets for 7 runs, and G. W. Ford three for Hr bowled well for the Baptist team, and P. Sefton for the losers.
