An alarm of fire was received at the Fire Brigade Station ait about a quarter to one on Saturday, an outbreak Itaving been discovered in aeix-roomed house in Poulson street, owned and occupied by .Mr William Pickering. The Sydenham chemical engine was.quickly on the ecene, and wot: followed immediately by the Lich"field street dhenrical engine and steamer.
