A POPULAR PRESSMAN.
(P3£SS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) i October 14. Another presentation was made to Mr Albert Oohcn, of the "Dunedin Star," this afternoon, when tho members of the Ministry assembled in tho room of the. Premier, and Mr &eddon, on behalf of bis colleagues and himself, presented the departing pressman with a handsome piece of plate, suitably in*xuib«l. In making the presentation, the Premier the high 'regard in which Mr Cohen had always been held. During all the timeho had been representing bin journal he had been courteous and reliable and impartial in his reporting and correspondence, to a degree.that had commanded tin respect of the Ministry and the member* of Parliament. Hβ concluded by expressing the rogret of the Ministry at his departure and their warm wishes for his happiness. Mr Cohen was abn) tho recipient of a gold sovereign cas« from members of tho House. Sir Wm. Russell made the presentation.
