WESTINGHOUSE BRAKE WORKS AT ADDINGTON.

TO THE EDITOR Or THE PEBSS. Sir,—Not being a person of very great importance, but important enough to seek a little knowledge through your columns aa regards the Westinghouse Brake Company, could any of the managers tell mc why numbers of single men, and strangers, too, are put on the works at Addington when several married men, with children, go every morning, hoping to earn a day's pay. Single men must live aa well, but they can go up country, whereas a married man cannot. To him it would mean two homes to _eep going. Hoping you will be kind enough to publish this letter,— Yours, etc., K.E.T.
