WALTHAM.
The Walthani School Committee met on November 12th. The acting head-master reported the average attendance for three weeks to have been 512, the number cm the roll being 582. Attention was drawn to the crowded state of th** infant department which hae a roll number of 203.* The need of increased accommodation, will be impressed on the Board. It was decided to ascertain the numbe* of scholars who would attend lessons in swimming. Accounts to the amount of £1 7* 9d were passed for payment. The Visiting Committee's- report was very satisfactory. Messrs Oow and Ditford were appointed visitors for the ensuing month.
