At the Axemen's Carnival, the World's Championship Underhand Chop was won by Blame {Victoria). The Teams' Match, with standing blocks, by Pettit and Hutton (Tasmania), Casey and Mitchell (New Zealand) being wfcood. In the Handicap Chop, of £100, which n unfinished, Casey was second in, Izis heat.
