BOROUGH COUNCILS. BOROUGH OF SUMNER. IN THE MATTER OF ,THE LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT, 1901, AND ITS AMENDMENTS. NOTICE is hereby given that the SUMNER BOROUGH COUNCIL propose* to RAISE, by way of SPECIAL LOAN, th* •urn of _3750, for the purpose of the construction of reservoirs, extension of water mains to parts of the borough not supplied with water, the purchase of water pipes, all necessary hydrants, sluice valves, fittings, and a supply of water meters, and generally for the purpose of extending snd improving the water supply system of the borough. Such loan is to be secured by a special annual recurring rate of five-eighths of a penny in the £ sterling upon the rateable value of all the rateable lands within the borough of Sumner, and to be for a period of forty-one years, at 4 per cent, per .annum, without sinking fund. And it is proposed to pay out of th* amount of the loan the cost of raising the same, and the interest for the first year. And Notice is hereby also given that a MEETING of the RATEPAYERS of the said Borough will be held on MONDAY, the 7th day of December Next, at tho Town Hall, Sumner, at the hour of 7.30 p.m., for the purpose of co.isiderin; the said proposal.
