To-night about 9 o'clock J. Moore Hume, rixty years of age, blew his brains out in Symonds street. For some time Hume, who is said to be- the son of an English AdmiraJ, was private secretary to Mr Walter Bentley, actor, and subsequently manager of an hotel. He had seen active service in the Army, and was a pioneer. He had been depressed for some time. The man put _ revolver in his mouth and blew the buds of Us bead off,
