The Mutual Life Association of Australasia has exceeded its record of last year. The new business, which was the largest in its bistorv, amounted to £760.606—an advance of almost £50.000. The -i«»w pr.*miums thereon amounted to £30,352. aa incr«_.-e of £5000. The renewal premiums total £171.829. or £12,712 more ih;:n in 1901. The funds have increased by'-ovr £100,000, and tlie interest rate has been well maintained. The expenses show a srvatifying decrease* Altogether the report of the year's husines- is one that the policy holders" may regard with satisfaction.
