BEHIND THE TIMES.
On comine out from the State prison at Trenton. New Jersey, after serving a 25 years' sentence, Herbert Jacobs was struck nr.d injured by an electric tramcar while trying to cross the road- He knew nothing of electric traction, which was introduced during his incarceration, and seeing no horses attached to the front of the car concluded it wes going away from him.
