There was a small entry of sheep at these yards on Thursday, principally fat wethers and ewes. Prices showed a decline o< Is to Is 6d on wethers, and 2s on fat ewes, consequently not much business was done. The best prices obtained were 17s 6d for fat wethers, and up to 11s 9d for fat ewes, fat lambs to 11s 4d, store lambs 6s to 7s. There was a large entry of dairy cows, which brought very satisfactory prices—springprs to £9 10s, dry cows to £7, yearlinge to £2.
