NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
The -annual .social in connection with the Sydenham Rifles will be heh- to-morrow evening, in the Orderly Rooms, Sydenham. A farewell social to Mr W. G. Williams and presentation of ths Cliainpionship road raoe cup and gold medals' in connection with the Gkri-tohureh Cycling Club, will take place to-morrow evening, in the Chii. rooms. Asmoke concert and the annual presenta* tion of prizes in connection with the C___3_obur___ Amateur Rowing Club will l>e held in the CSty H_H to-night, a* eight o'oJock. A _a__tdng in oomnection with temperance reform and the no-license question wilt be held to-night. Mr T. W. Glover wig give an address in Cathedral square at 7,30, and subsequently a roe_tinc- wiU be held in the Salvation Army Barracks, presided over by Cot. Estill. The annual meeting .of St. Albans Wesleyan Church, will be held to-morrow evening. Addresses will be delivered by Revs. Dr. Erwin, Baumbe., Bellhouse, ____ Parsonson. There will.be music by the choir-and others. The annua, -meeting of the Chri-tchuroh __fc_rysan.h__a_m Society will be held in the Temperance Ha?C Gloucester street, on Taesday next, 27th inst., when the piizemoney won at the recent Show will be paid.
