There was an average attendance at the Tinwaid yards on TuSeday. The entry was not so. large as usual. 'Prices were: — Fat steers £5 5s to £8. fat heifers £4 2s 6d to £8 7s 6d, fat cows £7 7s 6d to £7 12s --, j-earling cattle £2 7s, dry cows - 15s to £7 10s, springers £3 IDs to *55 2s 6d, calves IBs; rat sheep, crossbred ewes 5s .6d to 9s lid, young ewes 12s to-14s 6d, merino wethers 4s 3d to 5s 9d, hoggets 10s, merino wethers 8s 6d, freezing lambs 15s 2d, freezing wethers 16s; store sheep, .hoggets 6s* to 9s" 6d, crossbred ewes in knob 3s 9d to Us 6d, forward wethers Us to 14s 4d.
The North C__iterbury Co-operative Stores Company have sold for Mr R. W. Chapman 1100. acres of the Lowland Leas Estate to Messrs Ruddenk'au Bros., for £8 10s per acre, and 160 acres at Cust for Messrs RuddenMau Bros., to Mr S. Smith, at £14 10s per acre.
