A gentleman who was struck with the bravery .of the New ZeA-land-rain South Africa, bos written ; to the Agjsnfc-General tfor the colony, expressing his admiration of their conduct, and «s----dostng JBIOO, to be given to one of the men who has been wounded. The donor, who stipulates that t_s _ame shall be withheld, does not denote any particular man to whom his gift should be given. This present has bscn sent to General Babington,
in -inter that he may dispose of the sum j of £100 in accordance with the wishes of ! tlie donor.
