{ (SPECIAL TO "THE SBESS.") J • DUNEDIN, December 17. Mr Earashaw's meeting last night was the noisiest of the .campaign. His references to religious matters ended in a perfect uproar, but the climax was reached when the candidate charged one of his principal opponents with being a pre-Boer.. The unions are stiii undecided as to which candidate they shall support, conic favouring Mr Warren and others Mr Hally with the result that Mr Sidey will go to the poll a warm favourite.
