THE CASE OF LEPROSY.
(ffIPECtJIX, "THE ■■■■PBJESS.") DUNEDIN, December 17. Regarding the case of leprosy at Mackaes, the Health Officer writes that the type of disease from which the man is suffering is held not to be contagious, in the early stages at any rate. The man is not in an advanced condition, and except for the-wast-ing of his hands, not in the least repulsive to look at. There is no reason for alarm about the disease, being conveyed from him.
