(Received December 18th, 12.22 a.m.) SYDNEY, December 17. A cool southerly wind is blowing in the city to-night. The heat wave was general, and at many country stations a temperature was recorded of 100 degrees to 115 degrees. At Paradine, Brewarrina, and , Tilba it was 117 degrees, and at Ooodooga 121 degrees. Serious damage has been done to the wheat, the teat causing it Bush fires are raging in some districte. •
