At a Committee meeting of the Lancaster Park Swimming Club it was decided to offer twenty scholars of the Dpawa, Woolston, and Waltham Schools free mem bership in the club. The secretary re ported-that Miss XI. Cook, the lady captain of the club, wae now ready to in etriwfc the. kdy members in swimming, bin that the ladies' hours would require to be. altered; as many in husiness cmiU rut attend during business hours. The Co.iiraitfcce agreed to give jjd Thursday ;« f f>rnoons t<>"tae Ladies' Club. Mr Vovcc w.is elected custodian of the bath for the. s, r vson- Forty-three new members w-> elected, and. the first club race was fi.\-d to take place on November 7th.
