WELLINGTON RACING CLUB.
(PBESS ASSOaATCON" TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, July 1. At a meeting oi the stewards of the Welling-, ton Racing Club to-night, the Sub-committee appointed to consider the cape of J. McLaughlin, licensed jockey, who was on the Trotting Unpaid Forfeit Lilt, reported that it was unable to find any rule which countermanded reciprocity between the Racing and Trotting Clubs, Under these circumstances the Committee decided it could not place McLaughlin on tha Forfeit List. C. Taylor,-a, suspended jockey, appeared in person, a_d asked for reinstatement. Tlie application was declined.
