J Bailina reports th.it the tug Protector capsized while crossing the bar. The crew of five were drowned and the tng broken up. ANOTHER TUG ASHORE. Shell Harbour reports the tug Alexander Berry ashore, at Long Point; one man got ashore. It is impossible to reach the others, ns a big sea is running. [Bailina is a small town on the sea coast, about fifty mile 3 south of the Queensland border. The Aletxander Berry was insured for £500 in the South British. Four of the crew were drowned and one eared.
The Protector had a passenger, naone unknown, drowned. All the crew were married. Tina affair was very sudden, ■ A huge aea struck the boat broadside, and turned her comipktdy over. For a, while she floated bottom up, asd then disappeared. The tremendous sea co the coast is blocking shipping.
